Barrie Pride is a grassroots, not for profit, 2SLGBTQIA+ celebration, education and advocacy organization that relies solely on donations and volunteers to keep our Pride growing. The Barrie Pride Board are a volunteer team who advocate against discrimination, develop inclusive educational programming and plan events that celebrate the beauty and diversity of 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

Our process to become a volunteer or member of the Board of Directors begins with asking two questions:
1. Why do you want to join Barrie Pride?
2. What does Pride mean to you personally?
To become a member of the Barrie Pride Board of Directors, all of the above steps occur, and you will need to be voted into the position at the next AGM. Members must maintain the responsibilities of their position in order to remain in good standing.
